*Medicare Supplemental Insurance*

Insurance can be a pain. I learned this when I got pregnant five-and-a-half months ago because the plan that my husband's company uses turned out to not be as good as my last pregnancy three years ago. Since he works for a good company, it makes me nervous for when we are retired.

Thankfully, with Medigap Insurance, the gaps between Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B are covered -- such as, deductibles, co pays, and other various expenses.

Depending on the Medicare supplemental plan an individual chooses -- for example, Medigap Plan A, these plans will pay most -- if not all -- the gaps in the individual A and B plans, for an affordable price.

There is no need to have a medical exam, an individual is guaranteed a policy that is renewable. Once the coverage is in place, the insurance company will not raise the premium.

This sounds like a better deal than what my husband and I have now! It is something to inform our parents about, since they are approaching this time in their life.

Some topics are tough to discuss, such as Burial Insurance, but planning ahead to find a policy that meets your needs is critical.

It's never too soon to think about these topics; check out MedicareSupplementalInsurance.com for more information.
